ClockTap vs PAYDAY.PH

PAYDAY.PH is a long-running Philippine payroll provider that also sells time and attendance, leave, overtime, and night differential recording as part of the bundle. It is sold the traditional way: a demo, then a quote. ClockTap is the opposite end — sign up yourself, clock in the same day, and export hours into whatever payroll you already run.

PAYDAY.PH publishes no prices anywhere on its site — the only route is a demo and a quote (checked August 2026). We will not put a figure next to their name that they have not published, so the comparison below is on model and scope, not price.

ClockTap figures use standard list prices — launch promos on the pricing page may be lower.

What PAYDAY.PH costs

  • Quote-based: no public price list, no self-serve sign-up.
  • The site offers a free, commitment-free demo — not a free tier or a trial account.
  • Time and attendance is sold alongside payroll and HR, and syncs with their payroll module.
  • Reads from whatever input system you have, including biometric and face-recognition devices.

By quote, after a demo

PAYDAY.PH publishes no rates, so we cannot give a 20-person figure without inventing one.

What ClockTap costs

  • Flat per plan: Pro is ₱2,990 per year for up to 50 employees and 5 locations.
  • Max is ₱6,990 per year for up to 250 employees and 25 locations.

Choose PAYDAY.PH if

  • You want to hand off payroll entirely, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR filings
  • You already run biometric terminals and want a Philippine vendor to read them
  • You have the time and headcount for a demo-and-quote purchase

Choose ClockTap if

  • You want to see the price before you talk to anyone
  • Your payroll already works and you only need clean, approved hours feeding it
  • You want to start today rather than after a sales cycle
  • You are a store, café, clinic, or agency without an HR department

Common questions.

They do not say publicly. There is no price list on their site and no self-serve sign-up — the only path is a demo followed by a quote (checked August 2026). ClockTap publishes every price: free for 5 employees, ₱2,990 a year for up to 50, ₱6,990 a year for up to 250.

Only the attendance half of it. PAYDAY.PH computes and files Philippine statutory payroll; ClockTap deliberately stops at payroll-ready hours. If you use PAYDAY.PH mainly for payroll, ClockTap can sit in front of it as the timekeeping layer. If you use it to avoid running payroll at all, ClockTap is not a replacement.

Not for ClockTap — a PIN kiosk in any browser, or staff phones, with network and location locks so a clock-in only counts from the workplace. PAYDAY.PH can read biometric and face-recognition devices, but you supply and maintain that hardware.

Peso equivalents of USD prices use roughly ₱57 per US dollar as of August 2026. Each PAYDAY.PH figure here is either quoted from a source above or worked out from one, with the assumptions written next to it, as at August 2026. Vendors change prices and features without notice, so confirm on their own site before you decide. Where a vendor publishes no rate, we publish none rather than estimate one.
