ClockTap rolls up daily activity into a single attendance dashboard so you can spot trends without exporting first.

Filter attendance and export Excel

Pick a date range and store, scan the attendance table, then download a payroll-ready Excel workbook.

Daily summary

The dashboard summary shows, for the selected date range:

  • Total clock-ins
  • Late arrivals
  • Overtime hours
  • Pending approvals

Use the store dropdown to filter to a single branch or view all stores together.

Attendance table

Below the summary you'll see a row per employee with their clock-in, clock-out, and status (on time, late, overtime). Sort and filter to find a specific person or shift.

Exporting

Click Export Excel to download a payroll-ready .xlsx workbook. Choose a specific store first — exports are generated per store and honor the active date range.

The workbook contains one sheet per employee. Each sheet includes the selected date range up to today, with a row for every clocked shift and scheduled day the system can evaluate.

Columns included:

  • In Date, Clock In, Out Date, and Clock Out — the recorded attendance timestamps in the store timezone.
  • Schedule — the assigned shift time, Rest Day, or Open Hour.
  • Working Hours — the actual hours between clock-in and clock-out.
  • Approved Hours — the payable hours ClockTap calculates after late arrivals, undertime, approved leave, and approved overtime.
  • Status — on-time, late, undertime, absent, rest day, open hour, or leave status.
  • Late (hrs) — late arrival plus undertime, shown as decimal hours.
  • Overtime (hrs), Overtime Type, and Overtime Status — overtime amount, whether it is regular or rest-day overtime, and whether it is approved, pending, or rejected.
  • Holiday and Holiday Type — matching store holidays and their classification.

Holiday rows are highlighted in yellow, rest-day rows are highlighted in blue, and each employee sheet ends with a Total Hours row using the employee's total approved hours.
